JR東日本擬建新機場線

為迎接2020年東京奧運，東日本旅客鐵道（JR東日本）公司計畫建造從羽田機場通往東京都中心的新機場線，可分別連接到東京、新宿及新木場站。

以新宿站為例，現有路線轉乘至羽田約需41至46分鐘，新路線完成後，可縮短23分鐘，也就是少了一半的時間。這條新機場線建設經費估計約需3200億日圓（約944億元台幣）。
