以毒攻毒 醫讓童吃花生治過敏

一個醫師研究團隊今天表示，讓受試孩童少量食用他們會過敏的花生，成功增加耐受性，以便在誤食的情況下，有機會救回一命。

法新社報導，劍橋大學醫院（CUH）研究團隊在英國醫學雜誌「刺胳針」（The Lancet）中寫道，這些兒童在幾個月期間少量攝取花生粉，似乎能增加對這種可能致命過敏的耐受性。

研究團隊表示，經過6個月的口服免疫治療（OIT），受試的兒童中，有84%至91%能夠安全地攝取每天800毫克的花生粉，大約相當於5粒花生。

這樣的攝取量是他們未接受治療前能夠忍受的25倍，也比可能誤食的份量要多出許多。
