立法院長王金平今天下午發表「等待黎明、迎向藍天」聲明稿，決定不在黨內提出申訴。他在聲明中表示，對職務無所戀棧，但不能接受僅憑特偵組違法濫權監聽的片面之詞，就可以目無法紀，破壞憲政體制。

署名「中國國民黨永久黨員」的王金平在聲明中表示，他已多次表明沒有關說，相關人員也都一再否認關說，且我國已通過人權兩公約，保障人民自由權利，「本次特偵組違法監聽、越權報告，破壞憲政體制，關說一事是子虛烏有」。

聲明指出，他從政卅七年有餘，一本犧牲奉獻之初衷，無怨無悔，如認定他應喪失黨籍，他隨時可離開職務，無所戀棧；但他不能接受的是，僅憑特偵組違法濫權監聽的片面之詞，就可以目無法紀，破壞憲政體制。如此，我國多年來為各國所肯定的民主法治、權力分立、國會自主等憲政秩序，將被破壞殆盡。

王金平指出，他選擇不向國民黨提出申訴，是避免申訴造成黨內紛爭和社會動盪，更期待政局早日恢復平靜；當前國內外政情勢詭譎多變，政府宜早日因應，以國計民生為重，讓國家持續發展進步。

納坦雅胡表示，伊朗稱會進行核談判，是「根本不可能的事」，並批評伊朗是披著羊皮的狼。納坦雅胡更揚言，以色列準備「單獨行動」，以防止伊朗獲取核武器，並指伊朗的核計劃是對中東地區的威脅。

伊朗代表賽菲則強調，伊朗擁有和平發展核能的權利，反對任何國家擁有核武器，伊朗無意在軍事領域發展核武器，並稱納坦雅胡的發言根本是「空洞的挑釁」。
