臺中市政府環境保護局針對近日有議員反映將有6所區公所要代管區清潔隊之傳言，鄭重向外界說明，目前還在整合各方意見，並沒有將6處清潔隊交給區公所代管之情事。

環保局於6月11日召開「臺中市區里環保市政整合服務試辦計畫研商會議」，針對區公所代管清潔隊之作業原則廣徵公所及區清潔隊意見，作為日後區公所與各區清潔隊業務整合服務試辦執行之參考，惟目前環保局仍在整合各區公所、各區清潔隊隊長、隊員以及各方民意代表之意見，需等意見整合完成後，簽報市府核定才會試辦，是以，目前並無6所區公所將代管清潔隊之作法。

鑑於本市升格為直轄市後，部份區公所經常接獲民眾反映需即時處理之環境維護工作，為縮短民眾反映事項之處理時效，及強化各行政區天然災害前整備及災後復原工作，藉由與區公所強化聯繫整合或統一事權調配整合工班與清潔隊權管業務，可加強各司其職同步處理民眾反映環境清潔維護等事項，提昇環境維護效益。
