快艇教頭：史特林妻接球團不易被接受

洛杉磯時報(Los Angeles Times)8日報導，美國職業籃球(NBA)洛杉磯快艇隊(Los Angeles Clippers)教頭瑞佛斯(Doc Rivers)說，在快艇老闆史特林(Donald Sterling)發表種族歧視言論之後，要由他的妻子雪莉(Shelly Sterling)來出任球團新老板，恐怕不容易被接受。
史特林因涉及種族歧視的言論，遭NBA重罰250萬美元，且終生不得參與NBA活動。
從1981年起就是快艇隊部份所有人的雪莉說，即使她的丈夫被下達禁令，但去擁有這支球隊仍是她的法律權利。
報導指出，儘管NBA對史特林的懲處禁令，並不能阻止雪莉來接管球團，但是這場爭議，會使她不容易擔任這個新角色。
瑞佛斯說，「我認為局面會很艱難」，「我可以向你保證，每個人都不會贊成的」，因為「我們無法得知到底球隊會由誰來做主。」
