防撞系統升級 高鐵與日本合作

台灣高鐵決定將防止列車追撞的自動控制系統（ATC）升級，今天董事會也通過與日本JR東海鐵道簽署ATC技術支援備忘錄。

ATC主要是監督並自動控制高鐵列車速度，避免發生超速、冒進、追撞等事故。

高鐵路線明年初延伸到南港，明年7月新增苗栗、彰化及雲林3站也將啟用，為提供高鐵更安全的營運環境，台灣高鐵決定將ATC系統升級。

台灣高鐵發言人賈先德說，JR東海曾處理過延伸路線及新增車站的經驗，希望藉助JR東海的技術，讓高鐵順利完成ATC升級。
