研究無重力繁殖　俄5隻太空壁虎「殉職」

俄羅斯早前利用衞星，攜帶壁虎、果蠅、蠶卵、蘑菇和高等植物種子上太空，包括研究壁虎在無重力狀態下的交配情況，這顆衞星1日返回地球時，發現壁虎全數死亡。

俄羅斯科學院生物醫學問題研究所表示，搭乘「光子-M4號」(Foton-M4)生物衞星在太空飛行的5隻壁虎殉職。專家指出，初步資料顯示壁虎因體溫調節系統失靈，導致凍死。不過，同時上太空的果蠅卻存活下來，並繁殖下一代。

「光子-M4號」的生物任務包含8個實驗，最大生物是5隻長約10公分的壁虎；壁虎實驗希望讓牠們繁殖後代。 「光子-M4號」生物衞星於7月19日從拜科努爾航天發射場升空，進入地球軌道。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
