高雄市旗山國中內晚間傳出火警，消防隊獲報到場時，校門口警衛室旁一棵椰子樹起火燃燒，並冒出陣陣濃煙，位於樹旁的高壓配電室也岌岌可危，校好消防隊員及時射水滅火，火勢才獲得控制。
 
目擊民眾說，他發現火警時火苗從警衛室後的垃圾子母車外引燃並逐漸蔓延，詳細起火原因則待消防隊調查中。（劉智維／高雄報導）
