上一次台灣行政機關槓上蘋果的時間，可以回溯至 2011 年中臺北市政府針對 Apple App Store 與 Google Play Store 7 天鑑賞期的消保法紛爭。在市府祭出相關法令後，蘋果 App Store 毫無反抗地將原本 30 天鑑賞期機制改為 7 天（編按：當然啊，蘋果賺到）；而 Google 則是頑強抵抗，不願意將原先的 15 分鐘鑑賞期延長為 7 天。北市府也因此對 Google 開罰新臺幣 100 萬元，也造成後續 Google 退出付費應用軟體的銷售。

公平交易委員會在今天（25日）下午發佈新聞稿，表示美商蘋果（Apple Inc.）限制電信商在台銷售的 iPhone 手機綁約價格，違反公平交易法第 18 條規定。並命其在收到處分書的次日起，停止該項違法行為，並重罰新臺幣 2,000 萬元。
隨著NAS由企業辦公室導入一般家庭而逐漸普及後，用NAS建構私人雲端備份空間，早已不是件難事，隨NAS硬體規格逐年提昇，廠商也樂於為其加入許多網路應用功能，並在使用介面上進行改良，像是由Synology針對旗下NAS產品所開發的專用作業系統DSM（DiskStation Manager），就以全視窗化的直覺操作介面而著稱，最近Synology也釋出了最新的DSM 4.3系統，並開放用戶免費下載，DSM的最大特色之一，就是提供相當多類型的應用套件，包括備份、多媒體、商務及安全性套件。其中一款名為Cloud Station的套件，它的用途就是可輕鬆在多台電腦間進行檔案的備份與同步，且不限使用者數量，可同步最大至10GB的檔案大小，同時也具備行動裝置遠端同步的功能，並能自訂同步規則，即使沒有網路，一樣能隨意瀏覽並編輯文件，待重新連線後，所有的更改都會自動同步更新。
