南韓家用產品巨擘樂金電子公司（LG）23日表示，已經在美國推出有機發光二極體（OLED）弧形電視。這款55吋的電視售價14,999美元，零售門市已經開放預購，下個月起交貨。

樂金這款全球首見的55吋OLED弧形電視，今年4月已經在南韓開賣。

樂金表示，符合平面顯示器的螢幕尺寸，影像通常會被拉長而且可能遭到扭曲。但弧形顯示器設計旨在讓影像符合標準尺寸，有助於減輕這個問題，而且弧形顯示器能讓影像更栩栩如生。

【吳國仲／新北報導】新北市三重區溪尾街一處公寓凌晨4時傳出火警，警消獲報趕至將火勢撲滅，發現是一台10多年機齡的歌林(KOLIN)映像管電視起火，初步研判是內部零組件老舊、劣化所導致。
 
承租公寓的邱先生(30多歲)描述當時狀況，說自己上完夜班回家，正躺在床上看電視準備入眠，突然就聞到一陣燒焦味，接著電視就「砰」一聲冒煙起火，連旁邊的冷氣機和書櫃都被燒掉，他趕緊報警並用濕毛巾摀鼻跑出公寓。疑似被爆炸驚嚇，邱男說忘了當時在收看甚麼節目。

警消撲滅火勢後勘查時，勸告邱男不要用延長線分接太多電器，詢問是否需要鑑定，邱男表示不需要。

【綜合報導】印度一名男子米爾(Feroz-un-Dir Mir)聲稱自己現年141歲，如果屬實他就是在世最老人瑞。

米爾來自喀什米爾，聲稱持有政府文件，可證明他在1872年3月10日出生。

他結過五次婚，在1890間迎娶首任妻子，妻子在1900年間逝世，之後他四度再婚，其中第二、三、四任妻子都已離世，現任妻子80多歲。她說米爾不時提起辛酸經歷，包括1880年代隨父去卡拉奇做買賣時經歷大地震。

米爾現在在家人輔助下還能步行，眼睛也還看得到，但他的兒子說他10年前動過手術後，健康和記憶力大不如前。活了逾一世紀的米爾慨嘆「生活變得方便，但人的相處卻不和諧」。

《金氏世界紀錄》目前認證115歲日本女人瑞大川美佐緒為全球最長壽的人。亦有世界紀組織承認四川成都老人付素清為全球最老人瑞。她生於1897年7月19日，剛慶祝116歲生日。

另外其他曾創下最長壽紀錄的人，還包括活了122歲過164天的法國女人瑞卡爾芒特（Jeanne Calment），1875年2月21日出生，1997年8月4日逝世。

上個月12日以116歲55天高齡逝世的日本男士木村次郎右衛門，生於1897年4月19日，一直被認為是全球僅存在19世紀出世的男士。

香港東方日報昨（23）日報導，有消息稱，阿里巴巴已經向港交所遞交上市申請，正式啟動香港上市程序，預計10月掛牌。對此，阿里巴巴則回上市時間與地點並未確定。

不少分析預期，阿里巴巴市值逾港幣6,000億元（約新台幣2.3兆元），若在香港上市，獲納入恆生、MSCI明晟等重要指數，只是早晚問題。目前恆指成分股唯一的科網股是市值約港幣6,000億元的騰訊。

東方日報稱，阿里巴巴估值最高達1,000億美元（約新台幣3兆元），集資額最高200億美元（約新台幣5,988.6億元），可望登上香港有史以來的新股集資王寶座。

據報載，集資所得中約70億美元會用作回購雅虎的持股，至於是否採用「雙幣雙股」方式上市，要視市場及運作能否配合。

該報導並具指，阿里巴巴保薦人高盛上周已提交A1上市申請表格，包含集團上市申請、上半年度業績簡報、訊息披露文件等皆已交予港交所及證監會審核，預計8月中旬至下旬會接獲前兩單位提問，9月底前由上市委員會正式進行上市聆訊。若順利將於10月重新登陸香港主板。

市場周一也傳出，阿里巴巴集團內部股票交易價格從去年的每股人民幣60多元，上漲至近期的160多元。員工對公司股票交易的狂熱，被解讀是集團整體上市已近的佐證。

阿里巴巴昨天也發布「阿里智能TV操作系統」，並聯手大陸首批獲得網路電視牌照的「華數傳媒」推出搭載該系統的第一代機上盒「華數彩虹」，號稱可提供全新智慧生活方式。

除傳統電視功能外，阿里智能TV操作系統初期將接入聚划算、支付寶，提供水電煤繳費功能，並可透過電視在登錄淘寶或支付寶帳號後，瀏覽商品及支付購買，並提供音樂、遊戲等娛樂。

未來阿里巴巴將推出配套的智慧型手機應用，用戶手機可變身為電視遙控器，手機與電視間還將實現內容互通，用戶手機內的圖片、視頻均可在電視螢幕上播放。
