三星國中日前參加2013台中市金龍盃全國青少棒菁英賽，在全國28支勁旅中脫穎而出，雖然在單淘汰制的4強賽敗給冠軍隊桃園新明國中，但仍拿下季軍獎盃。

被視為準決賽的4強賽，三星國中遇上強敵桃園新興國中，球員們因不適應比賽壓力，場上發生多次失誤，尤其在第4局出現6次致命失誤，讓對手只擊出一支安打就拿下7分，三星國中終場以1：8飲恨。

雖失去角逐冠亞軍的資格，球員們仍重振精神，與高雄市大仁國中爭奪季軍，三星國中首局就攻下1分，但第4局又被拿走3分，直到最後一局的7局上，三星火力全開，連攻4分逆轉。

不過，韌性十足的高雄市大仁國中也不輕言放棄，7局下反攻回1分後，滿壘無人出局，令三星球員與教練嚇出一身冷汗。

三星投手先以三振取得一個出局數，再讓下一名打者擊出滾地球，被刺殺在本壘板前，形成第2個出局數，最後一名打者依然擊出滾地球，在一壘前被刺殺，終場三星就以5：4贏得季軍賽。

「青少棒賽事，主要是比誰的抗壓性好。」三星國中棒球隊教練游逸信表示，小球員們無論平時練習多扎實，真正上場比賽，誰能承受壓力？就是致勝關鍵。

三星國中校長林顯宗表示，蘭陽盃少棒、青少棒賽將在8月17日、9月13日於羅東棒球場與三星綜合運動場登場，歡迎宜蘭鄉親到場為宜蘭子弟加油，三星國中誓言將冠軍留在宜蘭。

父子都愛冰淇淋 創業10年有成

「從來沒想過會賣冰淇淋」，方子雄說，10多年前一場納莉颱風，將他的廠房泡在水裡，正好瑞士莫凡彼冰淇淋的執行長來台灣，邀方子雄幫他們賣冰淇淋，於是開啓這段冰淇淋代理之路，從服務25年的中信集團退休，自己創業。

方子雄的二兒子方立寰恰好也是冰淇淋的粉絲，同時想為台灣社會做點事，方立寰便放棄美國會計師事務所的高薪工作回到台灣，和父親一起為家族企業努力。

方立寰回台灣與父親一起經營百富通集團10年，從不懂到懂，父子間的溝通默契、效率不斷提升，方立寰笑說：「本來要3天3夜才能講完，現在只要3分鐘。」

集團內聘用幹部的衡量標準，「家庭觀念」是一個重要指標，方子雄認為：「沒有家庭觀念及責任感的人，不要期待他做出什麼大事，自古都是忠誠出孝子，我們的家訓也都是這樣來的。」

家庭生活體驗 成為事業創新靈感

百富通集團不斷多角化延伸，各式新產品陸續端出，其中的創意不僅有商戰的考量，也來自方立寰對家庭生活的體驗。

以「棒恰恰」親子餐廳為例，讓小客人能夠無拘無束的用餐與玩耍，為父母親減少負擔。

方立寰說，5年前他的小孩出生，孩子出生後那2年充分體會到，父母帶小孩外出吃飯很辛苦，常常是「一團亂」，沒辦法好好用餐。「後來我就想要開一家親子餐廳，可以讓孩子開心玩、大人安心吃飯。」

冰淇淋是兒童的最愛之一，家裡若是賣冰淇淋，簡直是置身兒童樂園。方立寰的小孩從小就覺得「爸爸的餐廳，是全世界最好玩的餐廳」，有時候還會對方立寰說「我長大後我們一起上班、做生意」，將爸爸與阿公共同打拚的父子情誼，傳承下去。
