【周佩萱╱綜合外電報導】馬爾地夫原定19日舉行總統大選，不過由於警方宣稱大選違法強行阻攔，無法如期舉行。
 
就在投票所開門前數小時，大批警方現身包圍選舉委員會，迫使選舉不得不暫停，先前馬爾地夫最高法院以舞弊為由，宣布取消9月7日舉行的總統大選結果，選委會隨後確定於10月19日舉行新的總統大選，但警方認為，由於3名總統候選人中，有2人尚未在選民登記表上簽字，19日舉行大選將違背最高法院的相關規定。
 
選委會抨擊警察越權，數千民眾也發起靜坐抗議，要求即刻舉行選舉，民眾表示警察控制國家，這擺明是場政變，總統大選強行被取消，也引發國際擔憂，美國外交人員就表示，馬爾地夫的民主嚴重受到威脅，最新消息指出現任總統默罕默德瓦希德(Mohammed Waheed)要求選委會，最快在26日重新舉行選舉。

小弟是太空迷，特別喜歡孤獨氛圍，並帶有點驚悚或動作的類型。每個月 會去圖書館看一下科學人。像緻密星、反粒子、ITER可以說個大概。不過 哲學程度低落，『銀翼殺手』、『太空漫遊』與『人類之子』也是卡很大 。 這部片步調與節奏其實還比『月球』更緊湊，人數也多一人。 但是『月球』給我的衝擊卻是極其大。但不知為什麼，地心引力讓我有種 荒謬感。這是不是一種荒謬下的反思劇? 爬了一下文，好雷著重以太空情境類比人生的浮沉。哲思的部分與情境的 呼應看似很完整，但片子卻讓我有種無法進入的感覺。另外也讓我有種上 綱基本情感，呃~ 就是言情的感覺。 想像一下若以下劇情你是棒球迷你會想看嗎 ? 有個學統計出身的平凡女孩，人生算不得很成功，但在統計棒球數據有了 個特殊成就。於是在某個因緣際會下，雖然不是很願意，但是接受邀請到 大聯盟實際體驗一下。 接著受了六個月的訓練，包括體能、戰術及揮棒等模擬訓練，站上了大聯 盟的春訓體驗，到處出包，結果卻因某種不可能的原因，必須真的得要打 幾天的第九棒『季賽』，呃~ 不是練習賽。 這是打真的，女孩感受了無法想像的球速震憾，球飛行各種角度，以及幾 乎要打到人與不可能揮到球的無力絕望感。於是呼嘯的球讓她崩潰了，開 始想家了，也想起了人生種種不如意與她所愛的人，並感覺到自已浮沉的 人生。 這時侯 Justin Verlander 是陪同他的人員，他安慰她，並說了一些鼓勵 她的話。 ．人生只能像球投出手，球來就打。 ．比賽結束，你只能放下球，繼續往前。 ．每次倒下或想放棄，支持你站起來的，都是夢想。 而高潮的地方是投手，失手將150KM的球丟到女孩的頭，她倒下了，在昏 炫朦朧之間想起自已曾熱愛的事，與那些別人未曾放棄與愛的故事。 最後的結局是她在醫院醒過來，掙扎的要踏回球場，跟大家一起結束這場 比賽。 『地心』這部片整體給我的荒謬感大概是這個樣子。 關鍵讓我漂來漂去的，是在講的反思與人類本身進入太空的意義連結不太 起來，而是呃~ 你知道的，是在大風大浪下上綱那顆叫小確幸的那顆螺絲~ 謝謝收看 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 114.32.8.178

【蕭孜玹／台北報導】倪安東日前上台視《Super Star我要當歌手》與黃夏欣PK，他演唱自己的歌曲《散場的擁抱》迎戰黃夏欣詮釋蕭煌奇的《只能勇敢》。為爭奪1萬元的優勝獎金，兩人都抱著勢在必得的決心，沒想到中文不好的倪安東，瞥見壹萬元的道具支票後，竟脫口說：「贏了就有『臺』萬元！」遭黃夏欣笑虧：「如果不知道那是什麼的話可以給我。」笑翻全場。

英國每日郵報報導，麻省理工學院校友韋德（Brandan Wade）研發的新手機約會程式「胡蘿蔔約會」（Carrot Dating），是以男性替追求者購買禮物的方式，邀請佳人見面約會。

上述程式允許用戶在女性面前晃動「胡蘿蔔」，可能是珠寶、一束花、一桶汽油或甚至整形手術，藉此打動芳心。「胡蘿蔔約會」的新聞稿寫道：「給狗一根骨頭，它會服從。送禮物給女人，她會...。」

有人批評新程式「性別歧視」，認為這項行為與「嫖妓」無異，專家認為以賄賂方式尋找戀情，長久下來行不通。

韋德說，他的靈感來自母親，而且新程式可協助醜男克服網路約會的一道障礙。

紐約時報報導，馬來西亞首都吉隆坡近年來由於人口激增，犯罪率也持續上升；原本是亞洲最安全的城市之一，現在卻很少有人不曾被搶錢包、晚間遭小偷光顧，以及其他更慘痛的經驗。

中產階級與高級住宅區的居民已開始將社區大門上鎖，且對個人保鑣的需求也增加。過去十年來註冊在案的保全公司從200家激增到712家。

美國駐吉隆坡大使館九月時還對美國居民發出警告：「切記，當背背包及攜帶肩包時，要『遠離』馬路，以免被機車騎士搶走。」

儘管民眾普遍感受到犯罪率升高，但政府表示2000 -2009年間犯罪率雖提高一倍，但之後便迅速下降。政府採取的措施包括加強警察巡邏，設置監視器，並在路邊放置路障以阻止機車劫匪。

但今年以來犯罪案件急劇升高，包括一些政府官員及他們的親屬都受到傷害，使政府當局不得不承認問題的嚴重性。今年八月以來警方已經逮捕1萬1千多名涉嫌加入幫派的份子；上個月還通過法令，允許警方不需經過法院審訊便有權拘留嫌犯。

紐約時報從警方取得的數字顯示，性侵案件增加迅速；2012年性侵案比2000年倍增，達2964件。

國防大學犯罪學者鄭懿君指出，大家普遍認為犯罪率比政府公布的數字要高，且對警方能夠解決犯罪問題不抱希望。許多人都不去報案，「因為他們認為政府根本做不了什麼」。

【晏明強／台北報導】國共論壇（兩岸經貿文化論壇）將於10月26日、27日在廣西南寧登場，國民黨照例由國民黨榮譽主席吳伯雄率團出席，共產黨則由新領導班子核心成員、全國政協主席俞正聲與會。國民黨代表團成員涵蓋政、產、官、學界，包括新黨主席郁慕明、人民最大黨主席許榮淑、親民黨秘書長秦金生、經建會副主委黃萬翔及鴻海集團董事長郭台銘等200餘人參加。

國民黨人士透露，去年國共論壇正值中國大陸高層權力交班，部份議題安排不免帶有試探意味的政治性，但今年論壇就完全沒有政治性議題，回歸論壇原本具有的經貿文化功能與角色。我方與會官員除黃萬翔外，還有教育部次長黃碧端，及陸委會文教處長華士傑等人，而黃萬翔也將在論壇中專題演講「推動兩岸經貿與文化合作方向與策略」。據了解，俞正聲將於25日晚間設宴歡迎吳伯雄等一行人，26日開幕式與27日閉幕式，吳伯雄與俞正聲也都會發表談話。

「圓仔」熱潮風靡全台，前國民黨黨史館主任邵銘煌今天說，72年前的抗戰期間，蔣宋美齡姊妹曾贈一對貓熊給美國，堪稱首宗的「貓熊外交」，見證了當年中美邦誼的一段佳話。

今年是蔣宋美齡逝世10週年，為紀念這位被稱為「中華民國永遠的第一夫人」，前中國國民黨黨史館主任邵銘煌說，中華民國婦女聯合會、中正文教基金會及中正紀念堂管理處3個單位將聯合舉辦「永遠的蔣夫人」紀念特展，表達追思。

然而，有趣的是，在時空交錯下，這項特展的「美齡熱」竟能與當今正夯的「圓仔」熱相互結合，也因此推出蔣宋美齡撫抱貓熊的公仔商品。

邵銘煌說，台北木柵動物園今年添增一隻新生的貓熊寶寶「圓仔」，分外討喜，但早在72年前的抗戰國難期間，蔣宋美齡即曾與大姐宋靄齡聯手贈送一對貓熊給美國，感謝美國人民援助中國抗戰、救濟數以萬計的難童。

他說，這份珍奇國禮，讓美國朝野雀躍感動，這也堪稱為首宗的「熊貓外交」，寫下了中美兩國邦誼的佳話。

邵銘煌說，在這項特展中，可以看到當年蔣宋美齡與貓熊寶寶的親密鏡頭。

翻開當年抗戰史，現任中正文化基金會執行長的政治大學圖書資訊與檔案學研究所副教授邵銘煌說，1941年5月，蔣宋美齡從廣播聽到美國紐約一所動物園的貓熊「潘朵拉」死去，美國朝野大為悲痛。

蔣宋美齡聽到了這段廣播，決定贈送中國的特產「貓熊」回報美國。邵銘煌說，美國從抗戰以來，許多民間團體捐贈很多衣物、金錢給中國傷兵、難童，因此蔣宋美齡決定贈送貓熊；後來她的大姐宋靄齡也贈送貓熊，兩姊妹送了一對貓熊給予美國。

當時美國的動物專家還親自到中國大陸重慶，把這對貓熊接回美國。邵銘煌說，在這次特展中，將有蔣宋美齡在重慶與貓熊互動的親密照片。

邵銘煌說，中國大陸現在經常以貓熊做為國際外交之用，殊不知蔣宋美齡可謂是當年「貓熊外交」的首創者。
