【綜合報導】山東青島農業大學的教室，一周內連續發生兩次吊扇墜落事故，其中一次更險些將一名女生的耳朵割掉，事故原因疑懷與天氣太熱，教室吊扇長期開着有關。

據目擊的趙姓同學表示，其中一次事故發生於7月2日晚間，他與同學在教學樓F502室內温習，因為天氣炎熱，教室的吊扇風力都開到最大，頭上的吊扇響了很久，沒想到旋轉的吊扇突然墜落，發出巨響，教室接著停電。大家都嚇了一跳，隨後便聽見一名女同學的哭聲，才知道她被墜下來的吊扇弄傷耳朵，流了不少血，同學們趕緊陪她到醫院。

事後，維修工人對各教室的電燈吊扇進行檢修。有同學向他們抱怨，很多教室裡的吊扇都有毛病，因為學校檢修不及時，才造成了事故。維修人員則表示，自從電扇裝上，就沒有來修過。

【大紀元2013年07月14日訊】（大紀元記者李真香港報道）今天是DSE中學放榜日，8.2萬考生，將要競爭12,500個本地大學聯招學額，換言之，多達7萬的香港學生，將要另謀出路，海外留學之路也成為香港和內地學生越來越多的選擇。

7月是各式海外留學展搶客的黃金月，今年不少留學展也趁著放榜在即，抓緊時間吸引中港學生。昨日在銅鑼灣一家酒店舉行的美加留學展，也吸引了不少香港學生到場詢問。

考生：首選本地大學

入讀九龍塘名牌中學喇沙書院的廖同學，昨日在姐姐和父親陪同下到場，抓緊時間瞭解資訊。不過他說，還是先以香港的大學作為入讀首選，「始終學費便宜很多」，第一志願選報了中文大學的商科系，第二志願則選讀科技大學。但對於能否成功入讀，他坦言心情忐忑不安。如果萬一未能入讀香港學校，他表示希望首選到美國留學，入讀商科。

而陪同他來參觀留學展的姐姐，剛從澳洲留學回來，目前在香港一所特殊教育學院任職。她說，自己早前是透過IDP教育海外升學博覽申請到海外留學。她坦言，現在大陸學生在國外非常搶手，「因為他們付得起高昂的學費」，而在他們全面搶攻之下，一向受港人喜歡的英國學校，學費也一漲再漲，令人乍舌。美國學費平均是30萬港幣一年，對於以打工為生的香港家庭而言，絕對是一筆不小的開支。

港英文水平跌 加留學大熱

參加教育展的加拿大國際語言學院市場總監Chris Musial說，目前加拿大有12%學生是留學生，特別是香港97年之後，英文水平正在不斷下降，所以不少香港學生也選擇到加拿大來學習，尤其是英文為主的東岸。另外，加拿大也是前英國殖民地，這一點和香港也有共同之處，再加上完全不同的教育模式，吸引了不少香港學生入讀。

Chris說：「有一些中國學生認為他們要在大學學習很苦，要在課後花很多時間，在晚上花很多時間去看書準備考試。他們希望可以去一個無需這麼辛苦的學校，而加拿大就適合他們。所以，加拿大的學校既有高品質的學術課程，又有英語能力的發展。這一點對香港學生來說尤其吸引。」

Chris下周還將前往上海一周，舉辦留學展。他說，在中國大陸，參加高考的人數正在下降。近年來，更多的大陸學生放眼海外去尋求大學教育。「中國現在是加拿大留學生群體中份額最重的一個國家，人數一直高居不下。」

美國院校盼收更多港生

美國CASCADIA社區學院的助理國際市場總監Scott Han亦說，目前全校3,000名學生中，國際學生佔了200名，當中70人來自大陸，香港5人。但Scott Han說，希望吸引更多香港人才來入讀，因為他們的英文水平相對大陸學生而言更加優秀。◇

放榜後才決定出國留學，來得及嗎？

英美加大學均有9月或1月的入學日期，簽證批核需時，以英、美最快（2星期）。如果選擇到加拿大升學，又希望9月開學，需要於7月份內申請。

想直入大學Year1，有可能嗎？
即使放榜後才申請，仍然可以進入相等於大學Year 1的課程。完成課程後，可以銜接上大學Year 2或3，不會耽誤時間。

【李光濱／花蓮報導】今天花蓮縣秀林鄉傳出一起8歲男童從高處墜樓受傷不治的意外，男童今天下午疑爬上衣櫃，從高處墜落地板上，吳姓阿嬤（60歲）見狀趕緊背著男童再帶著2名年幼孫子，走3公里路下山求助，但經報警送醫不治。

吳婦照顧6名孫子女，不料男童攀爬衣櫃玩耍墜落地板，左手臂骨折流血，吳婦揹著重傷的孫子，一手抱著2歲孫，一手再牽著5歲孫子，赤腳走了半小時下山求救，但孫子到院前已死亡。阿嬤獲悉痛哭失聲喊「我的孫阿！」
