【綜合報導】一名美國白髮阿媽認真打鼓，加上花俏轉鼓棒的動作，讓這段影片的點閱率超過240萬次。
 
這部名叫「阿媽鼓手」（Grandma Drummer）的影片主人翁叫薇姿達（Mary Hvizda），她今年其實也才63歲，薇姿達從15歲開始就先後在十幾個樂團擔任鼓手，展現熱愛音樂的熱情。即使現在已經封鼓棒了，她經過樂器行時還是會一時技癢的坐在鼓前面，重溫那段鼓手歲月。
 
薇姿達知道很多人觀賞她打鼓時，覺得很開心，喔！對了，但直到記者訪問她後，薇姿達才知道「youtube」是什麼。

紙糊王船 蔡東山四代傳承

有百年歷史、傳承第四代的蔡東山正為東港大潭保安宮製作紙糊的王船，船帆、船艙、錨錠等設備依照傳統一應俱全。（記者葉永騫攝）

手工細細地修裁，雖然是紙糊的王船主帆，但是要能伸縮自如，一艘王船全由手工打造，得花近半個月的時間才能完成，四代傳承、有百年歷史的屏東縣東港鎮糊紙店老板蔡東山說，雖然有好手藝，但工作不輕鬆，傳統的民俗技藝，可不能濫芋充數。

東港迎王祭典全國知名，焚燒的王船是原木打造，而一艘原木王船得花費數百萬元及大批的義務工匠製作，展現的是東港漁港特色，但不是每間廟宇有能力辦得到，地方文史專家陳進成說，早期王船都是以竹編紙糊純手工打造出來，後來因為生活水平提升，王船才改為木製再提升到現在的原木打造，現今大部分的廟宇仍維持紙糊或製作小型木船作為燒王船祭典之用。

蔡東山指出，糊紙技藝從表面上看不出差異，這些細節也很少人知道，但是試想祭祀的王船的帆不能升降、櫓樚不能拉錠，不是很漏氣嗎？只是堅持傳統得付出更多的代價和努力，年輕人不願學，也讓未來的傳承更加不易。
