台北市文化局今天表示，紀錄片「光陰的故事－台灣新電影」入圍威尼斯影展「威尼斯經典」單元，將角逐單元的「最佳紀錄片獎」。

第71屆威尼斯影展將於8月27日至9月6日在威尼斯舉行，文化局表示，在威尼斯影展的4大正式單元中，「威尼斯經典」精選的是修復後的經典電影以及關於電影的紀錄片，這次入圍的「光陰的故事－台灣新電影」，將角逐「最佳紀錄片」。

文化局表示，1982年由導演陶德辰、楊德昌、柯一正、張毅合作拍攝的「光陰的故事」（In Our Time1982），被稱作「台灣新電影」的開山之作，開啟台灣新電影時代。

文化人小野於2012年提出拍攝紀錄片的想法，獲北市府支持，由電影工作者王耿瑜擔任監製、邀請旅法電影人謝慶鈴擔任導演，小野則擔任總策劃，拍攝「光陰的故事－台灣新電影」。

文化局表示，「光陰的故事－台灣新電影」重新檢視「台灣新電影」帶來的滋養、薰陶、影響和啟發，這次入選威尼斯影展，象徵台灣新電影向世界發聲，如同為台灣新電影在世界電影史學論述中寫下一個文情並茂的篇章，彌足珍貴。

英文版維基百科的詞條近來遭人惡意修改，維基百科站方已經禁止讓來自美國眾議院的電腦編輯詞條。不過維基百科的創始人吉米·威爾斯（Jimmy Wales）說，此事並非罕見，胡亂修改和塗鴉現象「一直有，以後也會存在下去」。

美國賓州費城「Mercy Fitzgerald」醫院當地時間24日下午2時許，發生槍擊案，包括一名醫生在內共3人遭槍擊，醫生頭部重槍，目前3人狀況不明。
