【王煌忠／台中報導】台中市第二分局育才所巡佐蔡金寅與警員王寰宇、鄒宗育，週四巡邏途中發現陳姓男高中生﹝十九歲﹞，騎機車未戴安全帽在路口等紅燈，遂趨前攔查開單告發，陳男接過紅單後就要騎車離去，警方要求他戴上安全帽，陳男表示安全帽放在坐墊下置物箱，開始面露慌張，不敢開啟坐墊，還表明要等到母親到場才願意開，企圖利用拖延戰速矇混過關。
 
警方直覺有異通知陳母到場，開啟坐墊赫然發現一把改造手槍及鋼珠，陳男向警方表示，槍枝是國中時期因好奇好玩，以四千五百元在跳蚤市場購買，平時都放在家中，最近因與人發生口角，擔心遇到仇家才隨身攜帶，陳男懊悔表示：「我真的不知道事情會這麼嚴重！」警方訊後將陳男依槍砲彈藥刀械管制條例移送。

【綜合報導】英國康瓦爾（Cornwall）郡及德文（Devon）郡6日傍晚時分突然下了一場突如其來的大冰雹，這場冰雹雖然僅持續了大約15分鐘，但已經讓當地變成一片冰天雪地，令居民大為震驚。

今年英國的天氣反覆不定，在下冰雹的前一天，當地室外溫度還高達攝氏30度，人們享受著陽光夏日，想不到突然「變天」。

下冰雹期間，當地居民爭相走避，他們表示冰雹非常堅硬，且在夏末這段時間下起冰雹並不常見。
